GRACE NOTES PIANO TUNING
Grace Notes Piano Tuning offers piano tuning services, with a standard tuning priced at $120 and tuning requiring a pitch raise at $145. **Note, if outside of a 30 minute drive there will be a small travel fee.** I accept payments by cash or check only. My tuning process utilizes an advanced app that measures the entire piano and creates a custom tuning curve specifically for your instrument. In the near future, I will also provide piano interior and exterior cleaning services for an extra fee.
Based near Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska, I specialize in serving rural homes, residential areas, churches, retirement communities, nursing homes, community gathering halls/spaces, event centers and small towns where finding a tuner may be difficult. However, I am happy to tune pianos in other areas as well. If you're uncertain whether I service your area, please don’t hesitate to ask, as I travel within a reasonable driving distance.
At Grace Notes Piano Tuning, I am passionate about keeping music alive in homes, churches, and communities. As a musician who plays seven instruments, I truly understand the sentimental value of each instrument and approach every piano tuning with great care and respect. While my process may take a bit longer than others, this is because I aim for precision and perfection. Piano tuning is more than a job to me—it is an art form, and I am committed to doing it right.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve you. I truly appreciate it and look forward to helping you maintain the beauty and sound of your piano. I hope to hear from you soon!

Standard Piano Tuning
This is for when your piano is pretty close to in tune but needs a quick touch up tuning, usually 1 pass over the piano. This takes any where from 2-3 hours usually. I do realize that this is slower than some other tuners, this is mostly because i am incredibly particular about getting it absolutely as close to exact as I possibly can. This cost $120 per piano. **Note: If outside of a 30 minute drive there will be a small travel fee added. This is based on the time of the drive. It is recommended to have your piano tuned once every 6 months or at very minimum once a year, this keeps your piano in much better shape and keeps it sounding much better.
Piano Pitch Raise/Lower Tuning
This is for when your piano is a very out of tune and needs to have the strings pulled above or below the correct pitch to account for it settling back in to place and then gone over a 2nd time, to set it at the correct pitch. This usually takes about 3 hours but can vary depending on the piano. I do realize that this is slower than some other tuners, this is mostly because I am incredibly particular about getting it absolutely as close to exact as I possibly can. This cost $145 per piano, this may be more if it is super far out of tune. I can usually tell you within a few minutes. ***Note: If outside of a 30 minute drive there will be a small travel fee added. This is based on the time of the drive.***
**Example of this process: *Clean unisons*Measure piano Inharmonicity *Tune first pass pulling piano above/below pitch to account for stretch*Tune 2nd pass to set pitch correctly *Final Check of PianoAfter this process it is best to check the piano again after 3 to 4 months and hopefully at that point it just needs a touch up tuning. It is recommended doing this at least 2 times after a pitch raise Then after that, it is best to have it tuned every 6 months, or at minimum once a year, this keeps your piano in much better shape and sounding much better as well.
